Getting in Shape for Snowboarding

Being an open-minded sort of mom, I realize that there are many, many families in which one or more members of the family rides and in some cases, it is mom. So here’s to you snowboarder mom. You’ll want to get in shape, too! (And, of course, what is good for you is good for the whole family, dads and kids included).

Getting in Shape for Telemark and Cross Country Skiing

If you read yesterday’s post, you will remember that “getting in shape” does not mean the same thing for every sport. It turns out that getting in shape for Alpine skiing is different from getting in shape for Telemark and Nordic skiing. Go figure. I do both. I will have to be in double-good shape.
