A Gift to YOU from a Favorite Ski Instructor

Nathan Jarvis is a PSIA Children’s Specialist and ski instructor at Park City, Utah.

He’s also a dad, a grandfather, an author and an award-winning, internationally-known illustrator.

And he’s generous.

Over the past month, Jarvis has been busy at home, chasing his 2-year-old “grandgiggler”, and publishing a free eBook for skiing parents and their children.

I’m Smart. I Know the Code!

Nathan Jarvis has a gift for teaching children, turning a phrase, and creating beautiful illustrations.

Jarvis’ new book, I’m Smart. I Know the Code!, is a kids’ and parents’ guide to safe success and fun on the snow.

I’m Smart. I Know the Code! teaches skills that kids must know to follow the Skier and Snowboarder Responsibility Code. The book also includes Pro Tips on topics like spatial awareness and empathy, ten tips for success, a visual guide dressing kids for skiing, and more.

In addition to presenting skiing safety in manageable, child-friendly bites, Jarvis shares professional learn-to-ski techniques that will benefit children and their adults.

Here’s a screen shot of the table of contents.

I’m Smart. I Know the Code! is thirty pages long and covers topics you and your children need to know to enjoy the early years of skiing in a safe, successful, and fun-filled manner.

And check this out: just today, Jarvis’ book was officially endorsed by PSIA, the Professional Ski Instructors of America! Congratulations!

For a free download, go to NathanJarvis.com.

A-B-Skis

In addition to I’m Smart. I Know the Code!, Jarvis created A-B-Skis, a skiing alphabet book, with Olympian Libby Ludlow in 2019.

A-B-Skis is one of my favorite ski-themed children’s books. You can read my review here. It’s available for purchase at Jarvis’ website.

Whether you go for the free download of I’m Smart. I Know the Code!, or you purchase A-B-Skis, you’ll get smart, informative text paired with beautiful, playful illustrations. Both books are enjoyable reads for kids, parents and grandparents, alike.

A page from I’m Smart, I Know the Code by Nathan Jarvis.

Enjoy!
