Good morning!
Today is our first morning under a stay-at-home order in Colorado.
We’ve been staying at home, so not much has changed.
But what has changed — and for the better — is our understanding of how to handle groceries and take out thanks to this video.
After watching this video this morning, we now have a plan for handling anything you purchase and bring home. Somehow this makes me feel better.
So while today’s post has nothing to do with skiing, it has a lot to do with being brave and being a parent (or anyone else on the planet who eats food).
We hope you find it helpful.
Stay well, Kristen

We’re playing for keeps here. Be serious. Even if we have few cases, there are some undiagnosed cases, number unknown, that are in pre-symptom phase. We can do this! Be careful out there.

A reader suggested I turn to another source of information— infectious disease doctor Mimi Emig. Dr Emig is much less worried about transmission from food and mail than person to person. She emphasizes social distancing over sanitizing.

You touched the bag of cereal with your hands that you handled the box. Also the box may be cardboard but it has a gloss on it so the virus may last longer on that then just cardboard.
