Thank You!

August 12, 2011 by braveskimom

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for my Colorado state cookie in the Better Homes and Gardens State Cookie contest! Thanks to your votes, I ended up in 6th place — the top runner-up. 6th out of 50 ain’t too bad!

Congratulations to Louise Bishop, creator of the Washington State Chocolate Filled Raindrops, who took top honors. Other notable cookies (at least in to my taste) are the Mississippi Mud Sandwich Cookies (The Frugal Novice), the Pennsylvania Ben Franklin Tricorn Treasure Hats (Four Little Monsters) and the California Golden State Avocado Walnut Date Cookies (One2Try).

Colorado Columbine Cookies

Yum!

ps — if you are looking for my Colorado cookie recipes (yes! there’s more than one), look here.   Bon appetit!
