I’ve said it before, and I’m saying it again: One of the best, and most unexpected, benefits of blogging is meeting so many amazing moms who live, and love, to get their families outdoors and involved in adventure.
I am inspired by the women listed below. Although each of us is very different, we support and help one another through an outdoor blogging group. I’ve learned a lot from them. I hope you can too.
Looking for biking, camping, hiking, climbing information? Check out the list below. Looking for specific tips for getting outdoors with babies? Or maybe school-age kids? Or teens? Between us, we’ve got you covered.
Browse through the list and read the descriptions provided by each outdoor mom. Dig a little deeper and click on some links. Bookmark this page. I know you’ll find these women an incredible resource. They may even become your friends.
Cheers!

Great list! I love learning from other outdoor families. I blog about the outdoors, especially about getting my special needs son outdoors. I also blog some about adoption and autism, but I’m definitely geared towards getting others outdoors. Our motto is adventure for all!

Isn’t that funny? My mom has been scanning slides into jpegs for about a year, and she sends me the most embarassing ones! Looking for something to illustrate this post with, I just thought, “why not?” And truly, my friend Kathy in the photo grew up to the be mountaineer-woman-guide-extraordinaire. She makes me look like a couch potato!
Thanks!

The Wisconsin Skier says
Greetings,
I too run an outdoor blog, focusing on skiing, the website I have in the Website field of the comment header. On the site I focus on getting outdoors in the winter but when I have the time I talk about getting outdoors in general. Right now I want to add more posts, but I am pretty busy of late with biking, gardening, work, and other endeavors. Usually in the winter time posting picks up a bit.
I will add you site to the The Wisconsin Skier LOL (list of links)!
braveskimom says
Nice to meet you Wisconsin skier! I would love to learn more about skiing in your part of the world. Thanks!
