It’s that time of year — ski fashion time!
Here is a preview of the best women’s ski jackets and best women’s winter jackets for the coming season.
Enjoy!
The Best Women’s Ski Jackets
- The Burton Lelah Jacket is a slightly longer jacket that provides extra coverage. This tailored fit and removable fur make this jacket easy to wear on and off the slopes. It’s fully waterproof with 100 grams of insulation which makes it a great spring riding piece. Or layer up under this jacket for the colder days.
- It’s no wonder the Tuscany II Jacket continues to be a top seller for Obermeyer. The styling and fit are timeless and it’s available in beautiful colors that you won’t get tired of wearing. The faux fur is removable so you can switch it up. It’s fully waterproof with 150 grams of insulation which is perfect for all season.
- The Spyder Dolce Gore-Tex Infinium Jacket has a simple look, but it is far from simple. The soft 4-way stretch fabric offers great freedom of movement making this jacket extremely comfortable to wear all day long. This jacket is as warm as a puffy, with a modern fit that sits a tad longer than a classic ski jacket. It also has the GORE-TEX® guarantee to keep you dry. The faux fur gives you a luxurious look.
- Army green that is feminine and cute, we love it! The DC Panoramic Jacket is slightly longer and has a flattering tailored fit. The fabric is a stretch fabric, making it extra comfortable. With a waterproof rating of 30K, this jacket provides serious protection. DC gives this jacket a warmth rating of 2 out of 3. Pair with a pink camo pant and you’re set!
- For those who want to look sleek without being too loud on the slopes, we have The North Face Diameter Down Hybrid Jacket. This premium jacket is filled with 700 fill goose down in the body and hood, as well as 80 grams of PrimaLoft ® Silver Insulation in the collar, sleeves, side panels and below the powder skirt, making this jacket a hybrid with the best of both worlds. The slim fit is flattering and the powder skirt snaps away so you can wear this jacket off the slopes as well.
The Best Women’s Winter Jackets (and a Sweater)
- The North Face Eco Thermoball down parka is lightweight but packed with warmth. The jacket has synthetic insulation for those who are not fans of goose down feathers, and a matte finish if you don’t like typical shiny insulator jackets. There is also a bungee waist adjustment so that you can have a flattering look, fit for any occasion.
- On-trend with an oversized fit, draw cord adjustable cuffs and wool-like paneling on shoulders, the Spyder Transit Gore-Tex Infinium Down Jacket is technical enough for the mountain, but with a design that fits in on any city sidewalk. Utilizing GORE-TEX® and PrimaLoft® Down Blend Insulation, the Transit delivers quiet lightweight warmth and water protection to keep you dry and protected from the elements. Compressible and great for travel, the Transit packs into a pocket, forming a pillow for road trips to your favorite ski resorts.
- You don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort with the Obermeyer Sojourner Down Jacket. Look fabulous and stay warm with 600 fill power duck down. The faux fur trim is removable and there are plenty of other features that make this jacket great, such as an interior waist drawcord, soft fleece-lined collar and stretch inner cuffs.
- The Patagonia Tres 3-in-1 Parka is a great jacket if you want versatility. This parka comes with a shell jacket that has a stretch fabric treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent). The inner jacket secures with snaps and is a 700 fill power 100% recycled down. Both jackets are great to wear by themselves, or if you get really cold, you can wear both together for a seamless layered piece.
- The Patagonia Better Sweater is the staple item every woman needs. It’s a midweight fleece made of 100% recycled polyester. The pockets have zippers to keep your items safe and it works great by itself or as a layering piece because it’s slim fit takes the bulkiness out of layering.

I love my Patagonia ski jacket. It’s lasted several seasons and they actually repaired a seam that was coming out for me at the end of last season. I have my eye on the Patagonia better sweater.
