Ski Fashion 2017-2018
We’re leading off with today’s giveaway item, the Aspen ski or snowboard jacket from Nikita.
Nikita Aspen Jacket with Marble White Pine Pant: Nikita brings a rebellious style and confidence to women’s outerwear, whether on the street or on the mountain.
The longer length and slim fit flatter, while the solid color lets you rock the jacket in any situation. Faux fur on the hood is detachable. Attention to detail includes an interior hand warmer pocket at the lower back to help you stay warm, pit zips to help you cool off and the option to zip the jacket to Nikita snow pants.
Shown here in Hydro Blue, the giveaway jacket actually comes in Fired Brick (show above and at the bottom of this post).
As for the Marble Print White Pine pants, they’ve got the details you want, including leg vents, in one of the best prints of the season.
It’s a look that works well for skiing or snowboarding.
Spyder Labyrynth Jacket: A classic look from Spyder in beautiful dark tones. Featuring two distinct fabrics, this jacket has 4-way stretch and premium Primaloft insulation. Other features include a removable powder skirt, taped seams, pit zips and plenty of purpose-built pockets. Also available in all black.
Obermeyer Devon Down Jacket: This 700 Fill jacket has all the warm benefits of down without the puffy look. Fully waterproof and breathable, the Devon jacket has a removable hood and snap away powder skirt. It’s a classic ski jacket available in six solid colors, as well as a leopard print.
Patagonia 3-in-1 Snowbelle Jacket: A 3-in-1, this jacket has a reversible zip-out liner. Wear either the shell or the liner on warmer winter days or pair the two together on colder days. The contrasting muted tones add interest to Patagonia’s famous functionality.
Marmot Jessie Jacket: A bright and colorful abstract print for a fully feminine look from Marmot. Waterproof and breathable fabric with a regular fit for those who don’t want to feel constricted in a slim or tailored fit ski jacket.
Roxy Jet Ski SE Jacket: Roxy is known for it’s bright, fun color and feminine styling. This slim fit jacket is flattering and fully functional as a ski or snowboard jacket. The hood is removable.
Volcom Mission Jacket with Battle Stretch Pant: With a waterproof rating of 15K, this Volcom jacket is sure to keep you dry. The subdued pattern of roses and leaves is surprisingly feminine and subtle enough to wear anywhere. The skinny pants have a street-style look but are waterproof and made for the slopes. If you like a looser look, consider solid red or black ski pants.
Snowboard Fashion 2017-2018
While these looks aren’t exclusively for snowboarding, the longer, boxier shapes and bold prints bring a streetwise sensibility to the mountain.
Burton X LAMB Rareview Parka with LAMB Lion Storm Pant: This is Burton Snowboard’s collaboration with style icon Gwen Stefani and her L.A.M.B. collection. Gwen is known for her eccentric fashion and it shows in her outerwear. This outfit is packed with all of the features necessary for a successful day on the slopes and the pink faux fur is bold and eye-catching, just as you would expect from Gwen Stefani.
Sub in the Burton Gloria pants in true black or faded black if you prefer less pattern.
686 Phoenix Jacket: This jacket has a denim look but is fully insulated and waterproof for a day on the slopes. The longer fit and graphic on the back of jacket give this a modern and street-style look.
The One Piece
Nothing neon or 90s about this look from Burton. The slim fit and utilitarian design will keep you warm whether you ride two planks or one board.
Burton One Peace Snow Suit: This one piece suit protects you from the cold winter elements but is stylish and has a modern fit so that you can have functionality without sacrificing style. This suit also has Burton’s Living Lining™ technology which uses the garment’s pores to act as automatic climate control so that you’re never too cold or too hot.
The Everyday Jacket
While many of these looks will do double duty, as comfortable for daily wear as they are riding a chairlift, it’s nice to have a streetwise winter coat. Here’s our pick for this year, from Columbia.
Columbia Barlow Pass 550 Turbodown Jacket:This waterproof, breathable jacket is a must have every day winter jacket. It’s down insulated and has Columbia’s Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective Lining. With the Barlow Pass Jacket you get the benefits of a down jacket without the “puffy” look.
Not just a jacket, we’ve got a three item prize pack from Nikita and WinterWomen.com today!
One lucky winner will win a Nikita Aspen Jacket in Fired Brick in her choice of S-XL. Additionally the winner will receive a Nikita Turf beanie in Tapioca and a Nikita Hoody. Please note the Hoody is one size, and there are no exchanges on the hoody.
