The Outdoor Mom Academy is an initiative developed by Rebecca Walsh (Hike Like a Woman), Amelia Mayer (Tales of a Mountain Mama) and Susan Strayer (Mountain Mom and Tots).

Their goal is to inspire and help moms (and dads) enjoy family outdoor adventure with greater confidence and skill with 6 weeks of specialized information and training for moms, dads, grandparents and anyone else who spends time outdoors with kids.

Training materials, including videos, audio files, workbooks and PDF downloads focused on the topic of the week are provided each Monday, beginning May 15th.

Participants will also be entered for free weekly outdoor gear and clothing giveaways, along with receiving an original Outdoor Mom Academy patch for your daypack and a free copy of Rebecca Walsh’s e-books, How to Hike When You’re Pregnant and How to Hike with Kids.

Early registration, through May 7th, is $40 (minus $5 with this coupon code OMA-13). After May 7th, registration is $60 (you can still use the OMA-13 code). Registration closes on May 14th.
