My policy for guest posts is as follows:
In general, I will consider guest posts that are related to the content found on Braveskimom.com and cover topics that I have not, or cannot cover, myself.
For example, I am generally always interested in posts that discuss family skiing in Europe or other parts of the world far from North America.
I expect all guest posts to be professionally written, with a strong voice, and suitable for a family audience.
If you are writing on behalf of any business, there is a $350 US editorial fee payable by PayPal.
I get many inquiries from PR firms representing clients. If you fall into this category, the fee is applicable. If you work for a business seeking exposure, the fee is applicable. Editing and posting your work takes time and I expect to be compensated for this time. Please note that per Google guidelines all links are No-Follow.
If you are an independent writer, writing because you love to ski and want some exposure, I will consider waiving the fee. I do not pay for guest posts.
I reserve the right to accept or reject any post and to edit it to suit the style and content of my blog. I always appreciate photos being included if that is possible.
I also require that you assist with social media sharing. I expect that you’ll share the guest post on all of your social channels and do as much as I do to spread the word.
Please do not send me editorial copy without checking in first. As stated above, I am interested in posts that genuinely add to the overall content found on this site and I want to approve your topic before you spend time crafting an article.
Thank you for reading my policy. Should you have any questions, please contact me.
