2019 Guest Post and Sponsored Post Policy

braveskimom logoMy policy for guest and sponsored posts is as follows:

In general, I will consider posts that are related to the content found on Braveskimom.com.

I expect all guest posts to be professionally written, with a strong voice, and suitable for a family audience.

Alternatively, I can also work with you to craft a sponsored post.

If the post is on behalf of any business, there is a $400 US editorial fee payable by PayPal. Contracting entity is responsible for the PayPal fees and they will be added to the invoice.

Additionally, if you prefer to sponsor social media posts, the fee is $100 US payable by PayPal (again, fees will be added to the invoice). This fee includes Facebook and Twitter. If you’d like to add Pinterest, the charge for all three social channels is $150, plus PayPal fees.

I get many inquiries from PR firms representing clients. If you fall into this category, the fee is applicable. If you work for a business seeking exposure, the fee is applicable. Please note that per Google guidelines all links are No-Follow.

If you are an independent writer, writing because you love to ski and want some exposure, I will consider waiving the fee. I do not pay for guest posts.

I reserve the right to accept or reject any post and to edit it to suit the style and content of my blog. I always appreciate photos being included if that is possible.

I also require that you assist with social media sharing. I expect that you’ll share the guest post on all of your social channels and do as much as I do to spread the word.

Please do not send me editorial copy without checking in first. As stated above, I am interested in posts that genuinely add to the overall content found on this site and I want to approve your topic before you spend time crafting an article.

Thank you for reading my policy. Should you have any questions, please contact me.

Spread the Love (thanks!)

Welcome

I'm Kristen, a western Colorado mom, wife and trail boss in a busy outdoor family. Our family has a passion for skiing and my goal is to provide information to help other families enjoy their skiing adventures. Whether you have tiny toddlers just learning to slide or grown children with whom you're planning a reunion, you're in the right place. Cheers!
