It’s that ski fashion time of year when the latest and greatest styles for winter make their début.
This is the 6th ski season that we’ve worked with WinterWomen.com to bring you these annual ski fashion highlights. If you love the styles and want to learn (and see) more, please visit the WinterWomen.com website.
Basic White and Black
In this case, “basic” means timeless and classic, bumped up in intensity with to-the-minute styling. Just like the essential Little Black Dress, you can’t go wrong with black and white for ski season.
Sunice Melissa Jacket with Faux Fur
Volcom Bristol Jacket and Volcom Hexie Pant
Obermeyer Bombshell Jacket
Obermeyer Chamonix Jacket with Obermeyer Monte Bianco Pant
Bold Colors & Classic Prints
Colors come and go (remember neon?). But classic colors and subtle prints, when incorporated into well-made technical jackets, will last you many seasons. Plus, one lifestyle look to keep you warm wherever winter takes you.
Volcom Bristol Jacket
Sunice Naquita Jacket
Spyder Timeless Long Down Jacket
Luxe Looks
Because sometimes, you just want to make a statement. And sometimes that statement is sexy — even when you’re skiing.
Obermeyer Bombshell Special Edition Jacket
Toned-Down Prints for Snowboarders
These trim, long jackets are designed by snowboarders for snowboarders. But if you’re loving the subtle combinations in greens, khakis, blues and browns, there’s no reason for skiers to keep away.
686 Parklan Fortune Insulated Jacket
Burton Mystic Jacket with Burton Vida Pant
Faux Leather
Faux leather started showing up a few seasons ago, most notably in Spyder soft-shell ski pants. This season, the look expands from outerwear to layers that transition from skiing to socializing.
Snow Angel Minx Snuggle Sueded Vest (coming soon)
Snow Angel Minx Snuggle Sueded Zip-T
Volcom Battle Faux Leather Pant with Volcom Stave Jacket
And One 100% Improved Throwback
A little kid staple, the bib pant is back for women. “Overall” styling improves the entire look, while the design remains wholly functional.
Many thanks to Jacqueline Roman of WinterWomen.com for choosing these featured women’s winter styles. We’ll be back next week (October 3, 2016) for a look at the best of ski and ride fashion for kids from WinterKids.com.
